Site development and groundworks for new 11,443m2 3-storey precast concrete frame secondary school on raft foundations, to accommodate 1,000 pupils

Key Features:

Preparation of site village compound area and temporary carpark, including topsoil strip and hardcore (3,975m2)

Site clearance including removal of trees and site vegetation with topsoil strip and reduce level excavation including disposal off site (25,000m3)

Excavation and blinding for raft foundation slab to new college (4,068m2)

Hardcore filling to make up levels to underside of raft slab for new school and externally to roads, car parks and paved areas across the site (32,000 T)

Install radon pipes & sumps, 845m under-slab drainage (1,145m), main line foul & surface water drainage (3,140m), 110mm diameter PE SDR17 electro fusion welded watermain (540m), ESB, LV, ELV and Comms ducting (4,000m)

Excavation and filling for attenuation tank with 1,550m3 storage capacity using CubicM3 chamber storm water management system

Install kerbs, concrete footpaths and topsoil to landscape areas Civils & Ground Works
