Due to the high site costs and planning restrictions, clients are forced to build underground multi-storey basements to provide car parking and plant room areas. This results in deep bulk excavations of soil & rock and disposal off-site. We have a fleet of large tracked excavators up to 50 tonne with rock breakers up to 5 tonne for breaking out rock that is often crushed and recycled. We have removed up to 250 loads of material off site per day, where conditions are right.

We also have experience in decontaminating brownfield sites. Contaminated soil is disposed off site to licensed landfill sites or exported by barge to Germany or Poland. This has been a common problem around Dublin dockland site areas where we have successfully remediated a number of sites.
